SG offer a diverse range of powered EasyLoad ramps facilitating safe and easy access in/out of vehicles, for: wheelchairs, stretchers, walking patients, paramedics, support personnel and goods loading/unloading. EasyLoad ramps are compliant to: EN 1789 [CEN], PAS 2012:2019 and D409-16.
They are designed with safety, reliability and ease of operation at the forefront. We use high-quality, durable materials and tough, high grip, anti-slip to ensure user confidence and ease of use. The closed ramps are designed to be used as a step to enter and exit the vehicle, the step surfaces benefiting from the same high grip anti-slip finish, simplifying personnel entry/exit even when a ramp is closed.
EasyLoad ramps typically have safe working load of 450 kg, but we have versions rated up to 600Kg. We have tested ramps (rated at 450kg SWL) to over 1350kg with no resulting deformation or damage and new ramp versions undergo a rigorous & arduous test program.

Manually operated SmartFold® Ramps
SmartFold ramps are manually deployed/stowed ramps for wheelchair accessible vehicles and Patient Transport Service vehicles. They include a unique, concealed and protected, spring assist system to make lowering and raising the ramp easy. The range includes two section folding ramps and single section pivoting ramps, both of which stow vertically and three section folding ramps which stow horizontal on or in the vehicle floor. SmartFold ramps are compliant EN 1789 [CEN] and PAS 2012:2-2019.
The wheelchair/pedestrian surfaces are covered in a high grip, hard wearing, anti-slip suitable for powered wheelchairs, manually propelled wheelchairs and foot traffic. With a safe working load of 350Kg the ramps are able to accept virtually any wheelchair.
